"I moved from Terrace to Ottawa. I am writing in praise of one of your best assets, the fellow who ably and cheerfully moved my belongings. Keep him forever; he is a gem! My former house in Terrace is located about one hundred feet back from the road, at the end of a long, narrow driveway that has a cement curb on either side. Adding to the difficulty were ditches next to the road on either side of the driveway and trees providing a canopy atop the driveway (they did not get hurt!). I stood on my porch absolutely fascinated by the way your man maneuvered that truck into the driveway. That display of driving ability was quite something to see. He said if it wasn’t the toughest place to get into, it sure was close! I was very anxious about this move, but he was so good-natured and helpful it really helped me feel more at ease. He took such care with my belongings and was so confident and competent that I knew I was dealing with a professional. He jokingly referred to my move as the 'cookbook and fabric' move as it seemed that most of the heavy boxes he picked up were labelled with one of those words. He arrived to load up at the time he said he would (punctual) and was moving non-stop to get the truck loaded (energetic). He ensured none of these items bumped into walls, doors, etc. It's obvious that he takes great pride in a job well done. My children here in Ottawa who met him were also very impressed.
