Environmentally friendly moving company.

Williams Moving & Storage has recently put together an environmental task force that is working with Offsetters, Canada’s leading carbon management solutions provider, to understand and reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Williams Moving & Storage is the first and the only moving company in Canada with a program like this in place. We are proud to be recognized by Offsetters as an "Environmentally Friendly Partner".
 
Some of the areas that are being included in Williams’ GHG footprint are the emissions associated with our 12 locations, fuel consumption and kilometres driven by our fleet, tonnage of shipments multiplied by distance travelled, outsourced transportation, and employee air travel. Needless to say, for a company that performs over 5000 moves a year, there is quite a bit of data to analyze. 
 
We believe that taking responsibility for our greenhouse gas emissions is absolutely necessary. We’re proud to do business while taking action on climate change.
