Williams
is dedicated to supporting the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
(ALS) Society of B.C. in addition to other local charities
throughout the community.
Our dedication is one that is deeply personal. George
"Sonny" Williams, dealt with the debilitating
effects of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) for over 6 years
before succumbing to it in 1996.
For over 20 years as one of Vancouver's finest charity
golf tournaments and "black tie" evenings,
the George Williams Memorial ALS Tournament raises much
needed funding for the ALS Society. The proceeds from
this event go to the newly established endowment fund, that has been created in honour of George
"Sonny" Williams.
